Usually a third game in the series can feel like the third wheel. Sometimes, it feels like I'm just here to see those special move cutscene again. I've over trained to battle these world level opponents and there's a boatload of powerful special moves given away for free to the main characters.

Anyone who's spent a couple good hours playing through Firestorm or Blizzard's post game should be able to beat this game easily. Just bring Axel close to the goal and bang! The difficulty with facing the worlds best players is only present in the anime.

Even Team Zoolan's keeper falls flat to the power of this broken move. Heck, even in the final battle, during the 2nd half, Little Gigants switch their earth keeper in for a plant keeper. Paired with the embodiment of awesomeness himself, Axel Blaze, his high kick stat and elemental boost make this move nigh unstoppable unless an earth keeper is involved. And after obtainment, you've basically beaten the game.

Interestingly enough, the match against the Empire is an automatic loss, but that's where you also learn the long shot Mega Move.Grand Fire. Again, they're not difficult, but they offer a nice journey theme to go with each boss match as you head to each stadium. While almost every area in the series is technically a dungeon due to the random battle system, the football islands of Liocott are prime examples of how you can take classic RPG elements and just have fun with them. There's tons of new dungeons to explore this time. Inazuma 11 levels may be brief, but that doesn't stop them from being enjoyable. I still remember that breathtaking sunset covering Inazuma town back in one of Inazuma 11 DS's classic cutscenes. High all fixed up and a large range of new places to explore in Mark's home town during the first 4 chapters of the game. Besides the easier difficulty, Inazuma 11 3 feels like a combination of the 1st game's realism and the 2nd's energizing new feats of strength. As breathtaking as the evolution of Inazuma 11 2 was with its limit breaking game mechanics, Inazuma 11 3 doesn't create that same feeling of boosting power unless the anime is concerned. But Bomb Blast? Is it referring to the self-destructing submarine from Inazuma 11 2? The destruction of Alias Academy? Or does Devil Army Z have the concentrated power of an explosion? Either way I find it to be an odd title. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.īomb Blast? I understand why one version is called Lightning Bolt because that's the signature emblem of the Inazuma 11. if you like the last two inazuma eleven titles get it as it is much the same with some much needed tweaks and advances … Expand the 3D is not used to its full potential as it is rarely used due to most of the game is on the bottom non 3D screen except for when you shot and skill moves in matches which is a disappointment. I would of given it higher than 8 if it wasn't so similar to the earlier titles but all and all still holds up well. story is as corny and good as ever ripping it from the show. with improved gameplay and tweaks to make the match play more enjoyable. the 3D is not used to its full potential as it is rarely used due to most of the this is very similar to previous inazuma eleven titles.
